dogen's tongue

just considering the dogen natural world poetry sesshin as we head out to chaco canyon on thursday. but a breath first. sesshin with kaz tanahashi, superb translator of dogen, and anything else for that matter. jumping into one of his dogen translated poems is bracing. and to sit intensively with them rolling around the secret tongue that rests in the middle of the head...... what more could we ask for........
