nice. or as Steve Pavlina would put it: “Whatever happens to me during the course of my life — physically, socially, or financially – I can always choose to focus on giving. When I’m in that state, nothing else matters. I cease to exist as a separate being and merge into an expression of divine oneness.”
I'm excited that Zaadz seems to be emerging as an online sangha…this forum allows us to focus on what is most wholesome about our intentions, even in the midst of personal difficulty…yes, I love that quote! I recall Ken Wilber saying once when I raised some concern about the fact that because I had some association with him, that people might be treating me differently, wanting to get to him…his response was telling (and bears on this issue of separateness versus connectedness): “Oh I never worry about that…what is the self anyway but a big bag of relationships? And in the meantime, just enjoy the process”
thanks, durwin. dogen's actualizing the fundamental point says it well: to study the self is to forget the self. to forget the self is to met by the ten thousand things…….
